Since its origins in 1962, Edenred's mission has been to make the world of work a better world for all. This commitment has allowed the Group to identify the central elements of its corporate social responsibility policy: to improve the lives of individuals, to preserve the planet, and create value responsibly, united under the name "Ideal".
Every year a company organizes its IdealDay. As it unfolds, all of Edenred's employees around the world unite around a useful cause in one of three areas, a public campaign to implement the project. This is happening in all countries and offices of the company around the world.
Edenred aims to be an employer of choice in terms of professional development, human rights and diversity, to promote well-being through healthy and sustainable eating and to contribute to local development.
Edenred seeks to preserve the environment by reducing its carbon footprint, its consumption of resources and its waste, by designing eco services for mobility and against food waste while managing the impact of its solutions.
Edenred is committed to developing its activities and partnerships in an ethical manner across its entire value chain. The Group guarantees IT security and data protection, while meeting the expectations of its clients and users and involving them in its shift-to-digital.
Since 2017, Edenraid has been an essential part of Edenraid's corporate life. The campaign promotes sports and a healthy lifestyle among the company's employees, while allowing them to contribute to a cause that is important to them. For a month, all the company's employees around the world cover a certain distance, which is growing every year. Walking, running or cycling, the employees of the company together contribute to the fundraising for the chosen cause.
The Group's corporate social responsibility policy was built through a global materiality study involving both internal and external interviews. This study made it possible to identify and prioritize Edenred's issues according to their relevance and their impact on the company's performance.
Seven major issues were identified:
As a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact initiative, Edenred contributes with its solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations for 2030. With its social commitments, Edenred works towards 12 of these global goals, through the three axes of its CSR policy.
Edenred Bulgaria follows the program of the Corporate Social Responsibility Group, which aims to support society. The employees of Edenred Bulgaria annually join the charitable causes - IdealDay and Edenraid, organized by the Group, but also embrace their volunteer initiatives to set a good example among local communities.
It is extremely important for us to be directly involved in solving global problems such as obesity, food waste and environmental protection. That's why we created the blog sections "Balanced nutrition" and "Environmental protection".
