Edenred employees unite in support of Médecins Sans Frontières

This year, Edenred employees around the world will walk, run or ride a bicycle to contribute to the fight for Médecins Sans Frontières.
Volunteering is extremely important and is one of Edenred's core values. Every year we choose causes and projects with social orientation to support. The Edenraid charity challenge will be held for the fifth year. Each year the company choose a cause to support. This year, from September 15th to November 14th, Edenred employees around the world will walk, run or ride a bicycle with a total target of 1,000,000 km to raise 40,000 euros and contribute to the NGO organisation Médecins Sans Frontières against Covid-19.
Médecins Sans Frontières provide medical care to areas where the lives and health of the population are at risk. The main goal of the Organization is cases of armed conflict, but also cases of epidemics, pandemics, disasters or people excluded from the health system.
Médecins Sans Frontières are involved in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in more than 40 countries around the world. The priority of the Organization in the fight against the virus are: providing care for patients with COVID-19; protection of people at risk; maintenance of basic medical services. Médecins Sans Frontières is working to improve prevention and control measures to protect people and to prevent the virus from spreading further.
Since 2017 Edenraid has been an essential part of company life for the entire Edenraid group. The campaign promotes sports and a healthy lifestyle among the company's employees, while allowing them to contribute to a cause that is important to them.
Last year Edenred employees worldwide reached 800,000 kilometers and raised the sum of 35,000 euros in support of Médecins Sans Frontières. Find out more about last year's campaign results here.
